The following changes will be implemented for Season 8.

*As of February 25 (PST) | February 26 (CET), the latest version for all platforms is as follows:

  • Update Data Ver.1.8.0
  • General Game Balance Adjustments 1

    We have made a number of general game adjustments based on the current competitive state.

    • Reduced the effect of the cooldown drink item.
    • Slightly increased the flight speed of Dragon Changed survivors.
    • Made changes so that when there are overlapping movement speed increase effects granted by skills, only the largest increase will be applied.
    • Made changes so that movement speed increases granted by skills cannot exceed a certain speed.
    • General Game Balance Adjustments 2

      Certain Survivor skills that have had significant effects on the rate of victory are being adjusted.
      These adjustments will target skills with abilities that are too powerful individually, skills that have too great of an effect on the outcome of matches when combined, and skills that cool down too quickly after being used to escape the raider. In addition, some skills which see less frequent use will be buffed.
      *Skill Devices with the same effects will receive the same adjustments.

      ■Active Skills

      • Galactic Patrol Ship
        └Added an idle period before acceleration starts up.
        └Increased cooldown time.
        └Changed damage taken when contacting terrain based on speed, and reduced total damage required until the ship is destroyed.
      • The Savior Has Come
        └Reduced the duration of the hitbox window.
      • Flying Nimbus
        └Increased acceleration.
        └Made changes so that Nimbus can be mounted instantaneously while panicked or if the user is in an area that is about to be destroyed.
        └Reduced cooldown time.
      • Go-Go Gum
        └Grealy increased maximum range.
        └Increased size.
        └Changed to track the target slightly at long range.
        └Increased cooldown time.
      • Instant Transmission
        └Made changes so the time required to acquire the destination will now depend on the distance to the target.
        └Made changes so that when the movement is interrupted through use of another ability, a fixed proportional cooldown time will occur.
      • Instant Descent
        └Added effects to improve skill visibility.
        └Increased cooldown time.
      • Instant Rise
        └Added effects to improve skill visibility.
        └Increased cooldown time.
      • Charming Pose
        └Reduced the duration of the hitbox window.
        └Reduced the length of time the Raider is immobilized when hit.
      • Solar Flare
        └Increased area of effect
        └Reduced the length of time the Raider is immobilized when hit.
      • Shapeshift (Missile)
        └Reduced effect duration.
        └Increased cooldown time.
      • Cook
        └Increased amount of movement speed added.

      ■Passive Skills

      • Movement Speed Boost [Asphalt]/Movement Speed Boost [Ice]/Movement Speed Boost [Dirt]/Movement Speed Boost [Snow]
        └Increased applicable areas.
        └Made changes so that the movement speed increase takes effect immediately upon entering applicable areas, and persists for a short while even after leaving the applicable area.
      • Memories of Battle
        └Decreased cooldown time recovery amount based on Dragon Change level.
      • Warrior of Hope
        └Reduced downsides by increasing effects depending on number of allies.
      • Trained by an Angel
        └Slightly decreased amount of movement speed increase.
        └Slightly reduced the penalty to damage dealt.
      • On Guard
        └Reduced area of effect both when enhanced and unenhanced to prevent it from becoming too large.
      • An Even Stronger Form
        └Increased barrier restoration effect upon revival.
      • Battle Instincts
        └Made changes to the effect so that it only activates upon Dragon Changing when not already Dragon Changed.
      • Special Service
        └Made changes to the effect so that it varies depending on Dragon Change level, and increased the effect overall.
      • Immortal Champion
        └Added effects to improve skill visibility.
        └Reduced knockback speed and distance.
      • I’m a Bit Stronger Than You
        └Changed the effect to activate while panicked when the Dragon Change cooldown time is less than a certain amount, and increased the effect.
      • Resistance
        └Reduced effect duration.
        └Made changes so that the skill effect reduces over the length of its duration.
        └Made changes to the effect so that it only activates upon Dragon Changing when not already Dragon Changed.
      • Radar Power Boost [Additional Peripheral Info]
        └Made changes to the effect to eliminate most effect changes based on radar level, and adjusted remaining changes to be greater on lower level radars.
      • Radar Power Boost [Range]
        └Made changes to the effect to eliminate most effect changes based on the radar’s level, and adjusted remaining changes to be greater on lower level radars.
      • Young Talent
        └Removed increase to damage received.

      General Game Balance Adjustments 3

      With the adjustment to survivor skill effects, raiders will now be able to chase survivors down more skillfully, so some raiders’ abilities have been adjusted accordingly.

      • The speed boost granted to all raiders when a locked-on survivor is near the center of the camera has been reduced.
      • Slightly reduced the power of raiders’ Ki Blasts as well as those of some Dragon Changed survivors.
      • Some raiders’ evolution stage 1 and 2’s skills and Super Attacks have had their power reduced:
        └Zamasu & Goku Black evolution stage 2
        └Baby evolution stage 2
        └Gamma 1 & Gamma 2 evolution stages 1 to 2

      Changes Not Included in the Above

      • Changed raider Gamma 1 & Gamma 2’s evolution stage 3 so that the following penalties apply when holding a power key:
        └Movement speed reduction.
        └Reduction of the speed of cooldown time consumption for Super Attacks.
      • Made changes to raider Frieza to account for the implementation of raider Golden Frieza
        └Added an invincibility period after evolving into each form as long as no action is taken.
         *This invincibility period will be canceled if any action is taken, including movement or evasion.
        └Made changes to evolution stage 2-4 active skill “Break Strike” so that it will send enemies flying.
        └Shortened the time required for area destruction for evolution stage 4.
