(From the beginning of Season 4 Preliminary Ranked Matches – until the end of Season 4)
Rank Distribution
Target of Data Collection: Players who participated in 10 or more online matches.
After taking the rank distribution of Season 4 Preliminary Ranked Matches into account, we have adjusted the criteria for Season 5 Ranked Matches as follows:
- Previously, victory in matches had very little impact on the Raider’s rank increasing or decreasing. We have made improvements to this.
┗In accordance with the above, in order to prevent excessive deviation from the rate at which players in the upper rankings advanced during Season 4, the amount of points required for each rank between the S group and Z1 has been adjusted. - Due to the distribution ratio of Raiders at rank Z5 being slightly too high, we’ve made it slightly more difficult to advance through ranks Z1 to Z5.
- Due to the distribution ratio of Survivors at rank Z (especially Z5) being too high, we’ve made it more difficult to advance through ranks S1 to Z5.
- Regarding Survivors in the S Rank group, due to the strong discrepancy in distribution between ranks S1 to S5, we’ve slightly lowered the difficulty to advance from S1 to S3 and slightly raised the difficulty to advance from S3 to S5.
- In order to resolve the high rate of beginner and intermediate players in the A group being placed alongside each other, we’ve made it more difficult to advance from rank C1 to A3 and less difficult to advance from A1 to S1.
