In this “[Season 7] Notice of Changes Focused on Raider ‘Gamma 1 & Gamma 2’ and Bug Fixes” notice, we will outline the following changes that will be implemented to the game.
*As of December 19 (PST) | December 20 (CET), the latest version for all platforms is as follows:
Main In-Game Adjustments and Specific Changes
Made changes so that when Raider “Gamma 1 & Gamma 2” shifts from evolution stage 3 to evolution stage 4 and switches to Magenta, the difficulty of the Magenta stage will be adjusted based on the Raider’s Evolution Gauge at the time.
- Made changes so that the more evolution energy accumulated during evolution stage 3, the closer Magenta will appear to the lab entrance.
- When the Raider’s HP at evolution stage 3 is reduced to 0, Magenta will now appear even if the evolution energy is not at maximum.
*Due to this change, being defeated at evolution stage 3 will not result in a loss.
*However, Magenta will appear far from the lab entrance in this case. - Made changes so that Magenta’s starting position can now be anywhere on the map except for Area X.
- Made changes so that additional power keys will not drop until a certain amount of time has passed, even if power keys have been placed in all four areas.
- Made changes so that, when delivering power keys to Dr. Hedo, the speed bonus reduction during the Defense Phase until the Super Time Machine activates is now applied as a percentage. This also applies to the speed bonus reduction that occurs when a survivor accesses the startup system.
Made changes so that Magenta’s starting position will be randomized to prevent it from being known in advance.
Made changes so that delivering power keys to Dr. Hedo after four have already been delivered will no longer cause additional power keys to instantly spawn, and also slightly adjusted the bonuses granted by delivering power keys.
Other Changes and Fixes
- Made changes to the active skill “Max Barrier” for evolution stage 4 “Cell Max” in order to reduce cooldown, and allow the attack to pass through obstacles and terrain.
- Made changes to the Super Attack “Purge Stream” for evolution stage 4 “Cell Max” in order to allow the explosion to pass through obstacles and terrain.
- Made changes to reduce the amount of Knockback Gauge for evolution stage 4 “Cell Max” to make it easier for the character to be pushed back.
- The cooldown time for the following Skill Devices when strengthened to +20 has been adjusted to be double those of the base skill:

└Angry Shout Device
└Go-Go Gum Device
└Kaioken Rush Device - Adjusted “Gamma 1” at evolution stages 2-3 so he will face a locked-on target during certain actions.
- Made changes to the Super Attack “Jet Pack” for evolution stage 4 “Magenta” in order for it to launch in the same direction as the camera.
- Made changes to evolution stage 4 “Cell Max” so that the animation after destroying the Super Time Machine can be interrupted.
- Made changes to evolution stage 4 “Magenta” so that the Activate Cell Max interaction is now a short press instead of a long press.
- Adjusted the distance that evolution stage 4 “Magenta” can be spotted at.
- Adjusted evolution stage 4 “Magenta” in order to change the amount of time Magenta can be moved around while invisible after taking control of him.
- Made changes to the Super Attack “Optical Camouflage” for evolution stage 4 “Magenta” so that survivors can no longer hear the sound effect caused by the optical camouflage deactivating.
- Made changes to Practice Mode by adding an interactable lab entrance for Magenta to appear from, after which can be used to confirm Magenta’s controls and activate Cell Max.
